When you use Sportosy, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, profile photo, and any other information you choose to share in your player profile. We also collect usage data including device information, IP addresses, and interaction patterns.

For our match day check-in feature, we collect GPS location data when you actively initiate a check-in. Location data is only collected at the moment of check-in and is used solely to verify your proximity to the match venue. We do not track your location continuously.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Sportosy platform
• Verify your identity and manage your account
• Process match day check-ins and verify venue proximity
• Send notifications related to your team activities
• Generate attendance and performance reports
• Improve our services and develop new features

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access data they are authorised to view based on their role within the platform. We follow industry best practices for data security and regularly review our security measures.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• Within your club: team managers and directors can view player information relevant to their role
• Team reports: attendance and performance data is visible to all members of your team as part of the platform's transparency features
• Service providers: we use third-party services (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect our rights and safety

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
